They read a lot. Not just for fun, but to learn and grow. They use books to understand how money works, how to make better decisions, and how to stay calm during tough times.
Most of the books they read are not about quick wins. They focus on long-term thinking, patience, and smart choices. These lessons slowly build a strong mindset. The good news is, anyone can read these same books. You don’t need to be rich, you just need the willingness to learn and improve step by step.
These books didn’t just change how billionaires think, they changed what they did next. Each one is an easy read with a big idea inside.
Here are 10 books recommended by 10 billionaires, reveal the real reasons they can transform how you think and grow.
1. San Francisco

No visit to California is complete without a stop in San Francisco to see the Golden Gate Bridge. This architectural marvel spans 1.7 miles and offers panoramic views of the bay, Alcatraz Island, and the Pacific Ocean. Walk, bike, or drive across the bridge, and be sure to snap a few photos from the viewpoints at Battery Spencer or Crissy Field.
It has steep streets, colorful homes, cable cars, ocean air, and views that feel like they belong on a postcard. The Golden Gate Bridge is the star, but the whole city has a special charm. You can walk along the waterfront, explore Chinatown, visit Fisherman’s Wharf, ride a cable car, or watch the fog roll over the bay.
2. Yosemite National Park

Nature lovers will find paradise in Yosemite National Park. Located in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Yosemite is known for its dramatic granite cliffs, towering waterfalls, and ancient sequoia trees.
We recommend that first-time visitors explore Yosemite Valley, home to iconic landmarks like El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall. Yosemite is the kind of place that makes people go quiet. Not because there is nothing to say, but because the views are too big for words.
3. Solvang

Solvang feels like a little piece of Denmark in California. This charming town is known for its windmills, Danish-style buildings, bakeries, small shops, and cozy streets. It feels different from the usual California beach or city trip, which makes it extra fun for first-time visitors. You can walk around the village, try Danish pastries, take photos near the windmills, visit local tasting rooms, and enjoy the relaxed small-town feeling.
4. Disneyland Resort

For a fun and magical experience, visit Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. It is the first Disney theme park and a must-see in California. You can enjoy classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and newer ones like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. There is something for everyone, no matter your age. It is not just for kids. Adults love it too because it feels nostalgic, exciting, and full of imagination.
5. Temecula

Temecula is a beautiful stop for travelers who want vineyards, rolling hills, and a relaxed countryside feel. It is known for wine tasting, scenic views, charming Old Town Temecula, and hot air balloon rides.
The area feels peaceful but still fun, making it a great break from bigger cities . You can spend the day visiting wineries, enjoying a nice meal, walking through Old Town, or watching balloons float over the valley in the morning.
6. Palm Springs

Palm Springs is stylish, sunny, and full of desert charm. It is famous for palm trees, mid-century design, pools, mountain views, boutique hotels, and warm weather. The whole city has a relaxed vacation mood that makes it easy to slow down.
Visitors can ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, explore downtown, relax by the pool, visit nearby desert attractions, or enjoy the city’s unique architecture. Palm Springs feels glamorous without being too serious. It is a great place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the desert sun.
7. Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park feels like another world. The landscape is quiet, open, and strange in the best way. Twisted Joshua trees stand across the desert, huge rocks rise from the ground, and the sky seems endless. Popular spots include Hidden Valley, Skull Rock, Keys View, and Barker Dam.
The latter of which is my favorite and it is called Lost Horse Mine, but finding any of the mines in the park makes for a fun adventure.
8. Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica Pier is one of California’s most famous oceanfront spots. No trip to Southern California is complete without some beach time. Santa Monica offers sun, sand, and culture – everything first-time travelers need. Take a stroll on the famous Santa Monica Pier, complete with an amusement park and aquarium.
9. Long Beach

Long Beach is a great coastal city with a relaxed but active feel. It has waterfront views, restaurants, museums, parks, beaches, and attractions like the Queen Mary and Aquarium of the Pacific. It is also a good place to enjoy harbor walks, boat rides, and seaside dining.
Long Beach feels less overwhelming than Los Angeles but still gives you plenty to do.
It is a nice stop for travelers who want ocean views, city comfort, and a more laid-back pace.
10. Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth Mountain is a dream for outdoor lovers. In winter, it is a popular place for skiing and snowboarding. In warmer months, it becomes a beautiful spot for hiking, biking, fishing, scenic drives, and mountain views.
The area around Mammoth is full of natural beauty, including lakes, forests, hot springs, and dramatic Eastern Sierra landscapes. It is perfect for travelers who want fresh air, adventure, and a completely different side of California.
